As an addendum, I have had a few sweets since I finished my 30 days without sweets. It’s been quite the education. I really like being off them. It’s still a challenge to envision an evening without sweets, but I’ve found that if I have plans and keep busy, I don’t need them and the urge passes. Day by day and seven pounds lost, just by cutting out sweets. Goodness. It’s not easy, but worth it.
